All ProSet products were developed by its founder, Ken Cornwall, who was a mechanical contractor for over twenty years. He knew there had to be a better way to connect pipes passing through concrete floors. Even though ProSet products are mostly known for firestopping pipe penetrations, the unique design and methods were originally intended to install piping systems faster and better. Firestopping was actually a byproduct of the original concept. ProSet’s fast and simple pipe installation method has made the firestopping automatic, affordable and easy for pipe mechanics to install.
